@matteodefra

I am a second year PhD student at the ALGO team group at the University of Geneva, advised by Arnaud Casteigts. I am interested in the design and analysis of algorithms for graph problems and quantum computing, and the impact of the latter on the broad aspects of computational complexity. Recently, I worked on algorithms for motion planning problems, generation of hard-instances for quantum computing and probabilistic process in random graphs.

I obtained my Master's Degree in Computer Science, with a specialization in AI and Applied Math, at University of Pisa, Italy.

From September 2022 to October 2023, I was an intern in the OSIRIS (Optimization and simulation under risks) Lab at Électricité de France (EdF), and after in the Graph Optimization Team at PASQAL.
